For non-speaking French students:

We strongly recommend that you start early learning French and suggest the following steps:

1/ Intensive course at the “Alliance Française” in your country or any other course aiming to give solid basis of French language in a short time taught by a qualified teacher.

2/ By yourself, self-training, online learning. Two methods can be particularly recommended:

- for beginners: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/

- for post-beginners: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/mafrance/

- for everybody:

A one named BABBEL where you can learn many languages – Here French language for English speakers: https://lp.babbel.com/d/ENG_tutorial.html?l1=ENG&l2=FRA&autostart=beginner&ch=ORG

or with the BBC:
