International Master Vintage : 2 years, Full time, a European track about wine production

Become an expert in the international wine production industries through Higher education courses in viticulture and oenolog.

The international Vintage Master is a higher education course combining scientific and technical knowledge and field experience. It provides an in-depth knowledge of the wine industry. The International Vintage Master, coordinated by ESA, was built in partnership with seven universities within the European Union, between 1998 and 2002. We have been accredited DNM (National Master Degree) since September 2003, and certified Erasmus Mundus for the first time in September 2005 again in September 2009.

In 2007, as part of the Erasmus Mundus program, new partnerships with South Africa, Switzerland and Chile were established, which allowed us to develop our collaborations both in terms of research and pedagogy.

The International Vintage Master is now a consortium of 12 universities around the world bringing together professors and researchers in viticulture, oenology, sociology and wine marketing.

This master course welcomes about 25 students from different nationalities.

This training in viticulture, oenology and wine marketing (wine terroirs and firms) combines technological, economic and marketing knowledge with case studies.

Who can apply?

  • Students wishing to further their education in viticulture, oenology, wine terroir and wine marketing
  • Company staff wishing to obtain the National Degree of Master (French DNM) by the way of continuing education for adults or to complete their knowledge with “à la carte” modules (no degree awarded)

Applications are examined individually.
