Very important: for non speaking French applicants:
We strongly recommend that you start right now learning French and suggest the following steps:
1/ Intensive course at the “Alliance Française” in your country or any other course aiming to give solid basis of French language in a short time taught by a qualified teacher.
2/ By yourself, online learning. Two methods can be particularly recommended:
- for beginners: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/
- for post-beginners: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/mafrance/
- for everybody:
A one named BABBEL where you can learn many languages – Here French language for English speakers: https://lp.babbel.com/d/ENG_tutorial.html?l1=ENG&l2=FRA&autostart=beginner&ch=ORG
or with the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/mafrance/
A French TV program for learning French, seems not so easy, but you can try: http://apprendre.tv5monde.com/
3/ Once you have reached the A2 level (by June 2019), we strongly invite learners to ask for registration on the on-line method developed by ESA. This method was designed to help the Master Vintage students improve their French and will enable a first insight into future studies. Please click here : http://fle.groupe-esa.com/inscription/
Do not forget to upload on OLAGE your certificate of French Language no later than 15th June 2019.
The required level of French for entering ESA on September 2019 must be B1 level of French certified by an official certificate or diploma (certificate from professors or local institutions are no more accepted).
Good luck for learning French !
